Gaming will be safer, as new software will alert users to risky behavior

Early prevention of risky behavior, responsible marketing, education for players and employees, and collaboration with established addiction treatment programs. These are the main pillars of the Responsible Gaming program, which was launched in September 2021.

The helpline for problem gamblers is gaining momentum. The organization Podané ruce has joined forces with the Responsible Gaming project.

A helpline that assists gamblers and their loved ones is expanding its services. It now offers assistance every day of the week. The helpline is operated by the Podané ruce organization, and the Responsible Gaming project—backed by the Institute for Gambling Regulation—also contributes to its operation. Therapists are ready to offer help to anyone who needs it.

The Responsible Gaming project has been in operation for over a year and is successfully fulfilling its vision. It is finalizing standards for identifying at-risk players. It is launching a unified communication strategy targeting medium- and high-risk players. It raises awareness and educates the general public on how to gamble responsibly, while offering a helping hand to those facing problems. All of this is carried out under the supervision of the Expert Council.

Starting April 1, the helpline for gamblers and their loved ones is now providing round-the-clock psychological support. The service is operated by the “Naberte kurz” portal of the Podané ruce organization in collaboration with the Responsible Gaming project.
