Anders Dorph is the director of the Danish Gambling Authority. He took up his current position in November 2020 after four years as head of asylum at the Danish Immigration Service. In May 2025, he was appointed Chair of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) after serving two years as Vice-Chair. Throughout his career, Anders Dorph has worked several years in the Danish Ministry of Justice and served as executive in the Danish police. Anders Dorph holds a master’s degree in Law from University of Copenhagen and works as an external professor in criminal law at the University of Copenhagen.

Andrew Rhodes is Principal Consultant at Hawkbridge, a strategic advisory firm to the global gambling industry. Andrew advises clients on international regulatory strategy, government and regulatory engagement, and governance and operational standards. Andrew was Chief Executive of the British Gambling Commission from June 2021 to April 2026, leading the regulator through the Gambling Act Review, the Fourth National Lottery licence transition, and the implementation of the White Paper. He has over 20 years' experience in senior public sector leadership roles, working with governments and regulators internationally.

Stanislav Kouba has been working at the Czech Ministry of Finance since 2013, where he has held various expert and managerial positions, including Head of the Personal Income Tax and Public Insurance Contributions Legislation Department and Director of the Personal Income Tax Department. Since 2018, he has served as Senior Director General of the Tax and Customs Section, with responsibility also for accounting and ESG. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno, where he obtained his Master’s degree (Mgr.), and from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, where he earned his Ph.D. He also holds an engineering degree (Ing.) from the Prague University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor’s degree (Bc.) from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno.

Francesco is Group Head of Responsible Gaming at Allwyn International, where he leads group-wide player protection strategy across Allwyn’s lottery and gaming businesses. He previously spent a decade at Playtech as Chief Sustainable Gambling Officer, leading BetBuddy, an AI-based behavioural analytics and player protection platform deployed internationally. From 2007 to 2016 he was Director of Remote Gaming at ADM, Italy’s gambling regulator, where he built the national online gaming framework. He represented Italy on the European Commission’s Expert Group on Gambling Services. He began his career in IT and private-sector B2B roles, before specialising in international policy affairs.

Jan leads Responsible Gaming strategy and player protection across Fortuna Entertainment Group’s markets in 6+ countries. His work ranges from player protection frameworks and regulatory compliance to building safer gambling into product design. He previously served as Country Compliance Manager and brings extensive experience in gambling regulation, technical compliance, and regulatory compliance. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of FORTUNA GAME a.s.

Jakub Čavoj has been actively working in the field of sports integrity, protecting the integrity of sport and combating negative phenomena in sport for more than 10 years. Thanks to his extensive experience, he is considered one of the leading experts in this field in Slovakia and in the international context. A key pillar of his career has been the Slovak Football Association (SFZ), where he has been working in the Integrity Department since 2016. In this role, he specializes primarily in comprehensive prevention and thorough investigations of football match-fixing cases. Since 2018, he has proudly represented the Slovak Republic in the field of sports integrity at the Council of Europe, where he actively contributes to shaping European policies and standards. He has further developed his international experience and expertise through participation in international projects under the Erasmus+ programme in various countries. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed numerous specialized professional training programmes, enabling him to bring the latest knowledge and expertise directly into practice. As a recognized expert, he regularly speaks at prestigious international conferences. He has also shared his knowledge and practical experience through lectures and training sessions for representatives and colleagues from leading international football organizations, including UEFA and FIFA. Since the beginning of 2025, he has also been providing his expertise as an external advisor to the Slovak Anti-Doping Agency (SADA), where he contributes to strengthening the overall sports integrity framework at the national level.

Jan Řehola is the Director of the Institute for Gambling Regulation (IPRH), the largest professional association in the field of gambling in the Czech Republic. He has over fifteen years of experience in gambling regulation, spanning both the public and private sectors. He holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. Jan previously worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic – first as Head of the Legal Department and later as Director of the Gambling Regulation Department. After leaving the Ministry in 2014, he focused on legal practice and consultancy in the area of gambling regulation. He regularly speaks at international conferences and publishes in professional journals and industry periodicals.

Martin Šabo is the Director of the Department of Procedural Agenda and Gambling Regulation at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. He has more than 20 years of experience in regulation, not only in the field of gambling but also in taxation, accounting, and related areas. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague. He regularly speaks at international conferences and is the author of professional articles and expert opinions.

Jurmy Menckeberg is the founder and CEO of Null — Ængine. Spending a decade in responsible gambling and player safety in high-risk detection and intervention roles at Kindred Group, then building The Mill Adventure's RG governance function from zero across multi-jurisdiction markets. That experience led to one conviction: players harmed on the black market are the clearest casualty of information that collapses under scrutiny. Null — Ængine supplies public authorities with human-verified intelligence, enabling regulators and financial authorities to act on the payment infrastructure behind unauthorised gambling.

Simo Dragicevic has been a technology entrepreneur in the gambling industry since 2010, as founder of BetBuddy, a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence and gambling, which was acquired by Playtech Plc in 2017. He is also the Co-founder of AiR Hub, the industry's first, dedicated AI research lab established at UNLV's International Gaming Institute. The mission of AiR Hub is to advance the emerging discipline of AI within the gambling sector and create the industry’s ecosystem for collaborative AI research. Its flagship State of AI in Gaming annual report is the first comprehensive, data-informed overview of AI in the global gambling sector. Previously, Simo was Managing Director and Head of AI at Playtech and has also served on the boards of the Great Britain regulator, the Gambling Commission, and the Responsible Gambling Council. Prior to founding BetBuddy Simo was Director of Major Programmes at Barclays Plc and began his career at Accenture.

Šimon Vincze is Casino Guru’s Head of Sustainable & Safer Gambling, and an advocate for Responsible Gambling. He provides guidance on player protection, steers the company towards current best practices, and seeks opportunities for Casino Guru to have a positive influence. He leads the Global Self-Exclusion Initiative and the Casino Guru Academy.

Mário Kaliak works in the Supervision and Control Operations and Methodology Department of the Slovak Gambling Regulatory Authority. He is involved in the Authority’s analytical activities and in developing methodological documents for both gambling operators and colleagues responsible for conducting direct supervision in the field. Together with his department, he contributes to making the supervision of land-based gambling more effective and detailed.

A sports journalist with 20 years of experience at leading Czech media outlets, including Deník, MF DNES, Czech Television (ČT) and Seznam Zprávy. He currently contributes to Seznam Zprávy and Livesport, works as a commentator for Football Club magazine and hosts the football podcast Hoňte tygra. As a member of the Seznam Zprávy investigative team, he covered a major corruption and betting scandal in Czech football. His reporting has also focused on the corruption scandal involving Sigma Olomouc and the bribery of referees in lower-tier football. An expert on match-fixing, he has also appeared on the Za minutu šest podcast and as a guest on Czech Radio and TV Prima.

Luděk Mádl has been working in sports journalism for more than 30 years, focusing primarily on football. He is chief commentator for Hattrick magazine and co-host of the podcast Kontakt tam byl. In addition to sport, his work explores topics with broader political, historical and economic implications, as well as controversial issues such as match-fixing. Throughout his career, he has worked for several leading Czech media outlets, including Denní Telegraf, Svobodné slovo, Sport, Hospodářské noviny, Aktuálně.cz and Seznam Zprávy. In 2005, he received the Novinářská křepelka award for his reporting exposing corruption in Czech football. He is also the author of the book Kmotr Fotbal.

Lumír Číž is a former professional football player who played for several Czech football clubs, including FC Zlín, FC Baník Ostrava, FC Vysočina Jihlava, SFC Opava, and MFK Chrudim. His name became associated with a disciplinary case investigated by the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR). He was sanctioned for accepting promises of bribes on six occasions in connection with the manipulation of football matches for betting purposes. As a result, he received a six-year ban from all activities under the FAČR and a fine of CZK 40,000. At the conference, he will share a football player's first-hand perspective on match-fixing, offering insights into the risks of match manipulation and the challenges faced by players.

Jakub Žofčák is an economist and researcher specializing in the field of gambling. He earned his doctorate from Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, where his research focused on the economic impacts of gambling. He serves as an analyst at the Centre for Economic and Market Analyses (CETA) and as a lecturer at Metropolitan University Prague. In collaboration with the IPRH, he has worked on studies covering topics such as the illegal gambling market and the impact of gambling on municipalities. Beyond his academic work, he writes articles on economics for a general audience, contributing to publications including WIRED and Finmag.

Václav Ulrich, Ph.D. is a legal expert in gambling regulation and co-founder of the Institute for Gambling Regulation (IPRH), the largest association of its kind in the Czech Republic. A co-author of the 2025 Black Book of Illegal Gambling, he holds a Ph.D. in Gambling Law from Charles University, specializing in administrative sanctions in gambling. With a background at the Czech Ministry of Finance's regulatory department, Václav now bridges the gap between policy discussion and practical player protection, focusing on both the prevention of gambling-related harm and the fight against illegal gambling.
