I started betting about 8 or 9 years ago. I’ve always been a sports fan. I actively played table tennis and tennis, as well as other sports. I enjoyed watching the Grand Slams on TV. And it was tennis that I started betting on. At first, I bet amounts ranging from a hundred to a thousand, more or less based on a hunch. In the early years, I was definitely running a slight deficit. But then I started noticing the details of the game… the structure of the courts, the players’ mental state, their distribution of strength, tactics, and so on. Their style of play changed mine. I think about betting differently now. I enjoy improving at what I specialize in—understanding the sport. Every day, I pore over a huge amount of data. I try to understand the game both as a whole and as a puzzle made up of details. I have my own rules, my own limits, and my own approach. How much time and money I invest in this hobby is entirely up to me. I think about tennis a lot. But even so, I still have time for other hobbies besides betting. I’m physically active every day. I run, go to the gym, and play tennis myself. I’m also involved in music. Personally, I see betting as a hobby that’s connected to my other hobby—sports.
